Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft, chewy cookies dotted with chocolate chips.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg + 1 yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients then chips. Scoop onto sheet.
- Bake 10–12 minutes.
