Classic American Pancakes
Fluffy, golden pancakes served with butter and maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- Maple syrup and butter to serve
Instructions
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl.
- In another bowl whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine wet with dry until just mixed. Do not overmix.
- Cook 1/4 cup batter per pancake on a greased skillet until bubbles form. Flip and cook until golden.
- Serve with butter and maple syrup.
